Himachal Pradesh has treasured several beautiful destinations. It has a little something for everyone! Anyone looking for that extra dose of an adrenaline rush or a rejuvenating experience can find that in Himachal. To give our fellow wanderers a bit of thrill and chill, we've curated an itinerary that would satiate the wanderlust in you! This trip will start from Mcleodganj, the residence of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Visit beautiful Tibetan monasteries, satisfy your tastebuds with Indo-Italo-Israeli-Tibetan cuisine, and witness the amalgamation of Indo-Tibetan culture. The next day, you will reach Bir, the Paragliding capital of our India, to feel the thrill as you take off to paraglide. Then, the trip would take you to the beautiful valley of Tirthan, a less explored Gem of Himachal, a perfect place to plan a leisure trip. From there, you will start your journey to Jalori pass to experience the 360-degree view of the Himalayan mountains and trek further to mesmerizing Serolsar lake. This trip will give you a thrilling as well as a rejuvenating experience.

Things to carry in Himachal Pradesh Trip

Important Documents: Carry all essential documents including IDs, travel insurance, and medical papers at all times.

Clothing: Layered warm clothing is essential as weather changes quickly in the valley.

Footwear: Waterproof boots are highly recommended for snow and rocky terrain. Lightweight shoes work at campsites.

Medicines: Carry basic high-altitude meds like Diamox, Camphor, Paracetamol, Digene, and Eno.

Cash (according to your needs): Network coverage is poor. Always carry sufficient cash.

Power Bank: Electricity may be limited, so keep backup charging options.

Navigation Equipment: Compass, offline maps, or GPS are recommended in remote routes.

Itinerary

Day 0 – Evening Departure from Delhi to McLeodganj

Start your journey from Delhi by evening.

Travel overnight to reach McLeod Ganj by morning.

Day 1 – McLeod Ganj Sightseeing & Café Hopping

After breakfast and some leisure, head out for local sightseeing in McLeod Ganj.

Visit Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsu Waterfall, and Bhagsunath Temple.

Spend your evening exploring local markets and hopping between Tibetan cafés.

Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Transfer to Bir & Local Sightseeing | Camping at Bir Billing

Wake up early, have breakfast, and drive to Bir.

Explore local monasteries, shop in the village market, and try authentic Tibetan cuisine.

By evening, reach the campsite in Bir Billing and enjoy the sunset over the mountains.

Dinner with a bonfire and overnight camping under the stars.

Day 3 – Paragliding from Billing to Bir | Transfer to Tirthan Valley

Start your day early and experience the thrill of paragliding from Billing to Bir.

After spending some time in Bir, proceed towards Tirthan Valley.

Enjoy the scenic sunset views during your journey.

Arrive at Tirthan by late evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Tirthan Valley.

Day 4 – Visit Jalori Pass & Serolsar Lake Trek | Stay at Gushaini

Post breakfast, drive towards Jalori Pass (up to snow point).

Trek to the 360° viewpoint and soak in the breathtaking Himalayan vistas.

If conditions permit, continue trekking to the serene Serolsar Lake.

Return to Gushaini for a bonfire evening with music and dinner.

Overnight stay at Gushaini.

Day 5 – Choie Waterfall Trek & River Rafting | Evening Departure to Delhi

Wake up early to a beautiful sunrise and enjoy breakfast.

Trek to the scenic Choie Waterfall.

Post trek, experience an adrenaline-pumping river rafting session on the Beas River.

In the evening, depart for Delhi with unforgettable memories.

Day 6 – Arrival in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi by morning with cherished memories of your Himalayan adventure.

Exclusions


  • ❌ Any extra meals and stay arrangements apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions as per the itinerary.
  • ❌ At the time of stays, heater charges are extra and needs to be paid directly to the host.
  • ❌ Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
  • ❌ Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
  • ❌ Cost of snow-chained or 4*4 Vehicle if needed due to heavy snowfall.
  • ❌ Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.
  • ❌ Anything which is not mentioned in the above inclusions.
  • ❌ GST (5%) is applicable extra.

Things To Pack


  • Good quality rucksack (preferably 40–60 liters) & a small day bag pack (for hikes/treks purpose) with rain-cover is recommended, easy to carry trolley bag.
  • A pair of shoes (mainly trekking/sports) with good grip & waterproof, at least 2 pairs of socks & floaters/sandals/slippers.
  • Heavy down jacket, light fleece, long track/cargo pants, long/short sleeves T-shirts, body thermal wears (as per season), sun cap/hat, woolen cap & gloves (as per season), hoodie, raincoats/ponchos.
  • Personal care items like cold cream & moisturiser, sunscreen (preferably SPF40), lip balm, sanitary pads, toothpaste & other toiletries, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, body spray.
  • Personal medication (as prescribed by the doctor) & first-aid, sprain relief spray, glucose powder, tablets for headache, fever, diarrhea, motion sickness, dettol & cotton/bandages.
  • Personal documents & ID's like aadhar card, drivers license, passport or any other valid Government ID proofs.
  • Sunglasses, charger, power bank, quick dry towel, adequate amount of cash, quick snacks/dry fruits/energy bars, trash & waterproof laundry bags, re-usable water bottle.
